Properties: Chai is said to have anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. Cultures around the world use these herbs for a variety of ailments such as colds, influenza, bronchitis, stomach parasites, diabetes as well as for boosting the immune system, anti-oxidant effects, skin cleansing and reducing inflammation.

Cultural background: Discovered by the “Kallawaya” Indian tribe in Brazil, Lapacho, also known as “Ipes”, “Ipe”, “Pau d’arco”, “Ipe Roxo”, or “Trumpet Bush”, is made from the inner bark of the wild Lapacho tree. It was considered a sacred tree by the Incas due to its numerous medicinal values. Lapacho contains mineral salts.

Brewing temperature: 95-100 degrees C
Brewing time: 6-8 mins
