Organic Ceremonial Matcha is the finest quality matcha tea, organically grown in Kyoto, Japan. Only the green tips of the leaves are selected to guarantee the smooth, delicate, and delicious taste of our ceremonial grade matcha. It is cultivated from shade-grown tea leaves, avoiding direct sunlight and stimulating growth in chlorophyll which results in the vibrant green colour. Matcha is a very smooth and refreshing drink with a slightly sweet after-taste. Great to drink hot or cold!

Matcha contains high levels of antioxidants, providing over 5 times that of any other food. It is also a source of caffeine, however, differing from coffee.
Suggested use of Organic Ceremonial Matcha:
Our matcha tea is stone ground at the end of the manufacturing process, resulting in an ultra-fine tea powder that is typically whisked in hot water until a frothy consistency is reached, as in the traditional Japanese tea ceremony.
The resulting brew has much more body and flavour than tea brewed in a conventional fashion.
Use a ¼ teaspoon (1g) per 30ml cup.
Add to hot water in the cup or a bowl, and mix thoroughly.
Use a whisk for best results.
