Organic brazil nuts are absolutely delicious and are quite hard to find grown and certified organic. They’re high in protein and are rich in minerals including the rare mineral selenium which is essential for maintaining healthy bodily function.

Our organic brazil nuts are grown without the use of pesticides or artificial fertilisers in Bolivia and are certified organic by the soil association. So many nuts are grown using these nasties and they do show up when tested.
Organic brazil nuts contain a high quantity of selenium making them a very valuable ‘food state’ source of this nutrient. Selenium is generally fairly hard to find in our normal diets as it is almost completely depleted from our soils.

Suggested use:
It is generally considered to be good practise to eat no more than 6 brazil nuts per day due to the high levels of selenium. This is tricky because they’re so tasty!
