Frequently asked questions

Is moringa powder the same as moringa leaf powder?

Usually, yes. Most moringa powder is made from dried, ground moringa leaves. Ours is 100% organically grown Moringa oleifera leaf, with nothing added.

What does moringa powder taste like?

Organic moringa powder has a fresh, green flavour, often compared to spinach or asparagus, so it works well in savoury dishes as well as smoothies.

How do you use moringa leaf powder?

Organic moringa leaf powder is easy to add to your daily routine. We suggest 6-9g a day, which is about 2-3 teaspoons. If you’re new to moringa, start with 1 teaspoon and build up over a week or two.

Popular ways to use moringa powder:

  • Smoothies and juices: blend 1-2 teaspoons into a green smoothie, or stir it into fresh juice.
  • In water: whisk into a glass of water, with a squeeze of lemon if you like.
  • Savoury dishes: stir into stews, soups, sauces and curries near the end of cooking. Its fresh, spinach-like taste works well here.
  • Green blends: combine with other superfood powders, or try our Vitality Super Green Blend, which already includes organic moringa.
