Ingredients
The Tick Response Kit contains three carefully prepared botanical formulations.
The First Response Tincture contains organic Japanese knotweed root (Polygonum cuspidatum) and organic andrographis herb (Andrographis paniculata), prepared as traditional 1:3 extracts.
The Immune Support Tincture contains organic astragalus root (Astragalus membranaceus), organic calendula flowers (Calendula officinalis) and organic liquorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra), prepared as traditional 1:3 extracts.
The Natural Tick Repellent contains yarrow (Achillea millefolium), lemongrass essential oil (Cymbopogon flexuosus), lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia) and spring water in a non-staining formulation.
The kit also includes pure bentonite clay for preparing a traditional poultice together with a two-month supply of Ledum palustre 200c homeopathic pillules made with a sucrose base.
How To Use The Tick Response Kit
The Tick Response Kit is designed to help you prepare before spending time outdoors and to provide a clear response should you discover a tick. You will receive a flyer with everything you need to know about how to use the kit.
Before heading out, apply the Natural Tick Repellent to exposed skin and/or clothing, following the directions on the bottle. Reapply as required throughout the day, particularly if spending extended periods in long grass, woodland or other areas where ticks are commonly found.
If you discover a tick, remain calm and remove it as soon as possible using the stainless steel tick tweezers provided. Avoid squeezing or twisting the body of the tick during removal.
Next, mix a small pinch of bentonite clay with enough First Response Tincture to form a smooth paste. Apply this directly to the bite site, cover with a plaster and leave in place until bedtime or overnight. Wash away and repeat once more during the first 24 hours.
On the first day, take Ledum palustre 200c every three hours together with 10ml of the Immune Support Tincture diluted in water.
Continue with the following protocol:
- Days 2–5: Ledum palustre 200c twice daily and 10ml of the Immune Support Tincture each day.
- Days 5–8: Ledum palustre 200c twice daily.
- Month 1: Ledum palustre 200c twice weekly.
- Month 2: Ledum palustre 200c once weekly.
Following any tick bite, continue to monitor the bite site and your general wellbeing over the following days and weeks. If you develop a rash, fever, flu-like symptoms, unusual fatigue, joint pain or have any concerns following a tick bite, seek prompt medical advice.
