What is it?
Devils Claw is from the sesame family and is native to southern Africa. It’s called devils claw because of the bizarre appearance of the plant.
Devils claw contains a group of beneficial compounds called harpoagosides which explains why it has a long history of use in South Africa. It is used by people who are looking to relieve inflammation related to arthritic conditions as well as for general pain, fevers, ulcers and boils.

Dosage and serving suggestions
