Cacao Liquor Paste is the pure essence of cacao! Many people consider eating chocolate a “guilty pleasure”. But the reputation of chocolate as a junk food should more accurately be attributed to the harmful effects of commercial processing and refining techniques, and the other ingredients commonly added, most notably white sugar. All chocolate is made from the cacao (cocoa) bean, and cacao beans in their natural, unprocessed, unadulterated state are rich in nutrients.

How our raw cacao liquor is processed:
The beans are fermented then sundried naturally. Temperature tests are run during these phases and we have been assured: “the temperature of the cacao bean inside its skin never heats up over the proverbial raw standard of 118f”. The beans are then stone-milled into nibs, then milled further to make paste.
Possible benefits of raw cacao liquor
Cacao boats more antioxidant flavonoids than any other plant-based food, including blueberries, red wine, and black and green teas. In fact, it has up to four times the quantity of antioxidants found in green tea.
Cacao liquor paste is also rich in minerals, in particular, magnesium, iron and calcium. Containing healthy amounts of sulphur, raw cacao can contribute to healthy and glowing skin, hair and nails.
