About our organic acerola powder (Freeze-Dried)
Our organic acerola powder is made from the acerola cherry which is a sour, yet sweet flavoured fruit that has a very high content of vitamin C. Young acerola fruit can contain almost 8% vitamin C, which is almost forty times as much as an orange. The vitamin C powder produced by this fruit is very bioavailable and is more easily absorbed by humans than synthetically produced ascorbic acid.
Country of Origin: Brazil
Botanical Name: Malpighia Emarginata
Acerola powder is one of the most potent sources of vitamin C on the planet; a healthy and delicious vitamin C powder. Acerola is also a rich source of vitamin A; in fact acerola contains as much vitamin A as an entire bunch of carrots!
