Reishi extract is an ancient medicine cited thousands of years ago in several Chinese texts as being a tonic for emperors. Traditional and contemporary Chinese medicine admire it as a tonic benefiting ‘vital energy’ or ‘Qi’, and it is prescribed for a multitude of maladies. Reishi is a polypore mushroom that grows in damp, dark forests and the occasional rotting log. Recent demand has enabled its cultivation in Japan, China and the United States which is promising for the wild stands of reishi.

How is it extracted?
Without the use of harsh chemicals or solvents! This reishi extract goes through a relatively gentle dual stage extraction process, the first stage using water and the second using alcohol. When the extraction is finished the ratio is a phenomenal 30:1, making this an extremely potent product.
