What’s in it?
Each bar contains 2,000mg of Lion’s Mane mushroom extract. That’s a traditional hot water extract made from organically grown fruiting bodies, produced by Bristol Fungarium in Somerset. Known for its potential to support memory, focus and overall cognitive health, Lion’s Mane has a long history of use and is now one of the most popular mushrooms in functional food circles.
The chocolate is made from scratch using organic cacao beans, stone-ground slowly over three days to achieve a smooth, melt-in-the-mouth texture. It’s sweetened gently with coconut sugar, which adds a subtle caramel note without overpowering the cacao. The final result is a rich, dark bar with a satisfying depth of flavour and a hint of earthiness from the mushrooms. Still very much a chocolate bar, just with something extra.
Tastes good?
This is proper chocolate. It has a rich cacao flavour and with perfect sweetness levels (due to using organic coconut sugar instead of the refined/cheap/nasty stuff) and a silky finish thanks to the long grinding process. The Lion’s Mane brings a subtle earthy note, but if you didn’t know it was there, you might not notice at all.
