Home Detox Fasting Pack
Fasting can help you have more energy, lose weight, detox your system of toxins, feel empowered and take control of your own health. Using psyllium husk, bentonite clay and digestive enzymes during a fast are one of the simplest and most effective ways to cleanse the digestive system and aid a fast.
This Home Detox Fasting Pack contains all the products you’ll need + we include a ‘how to’ guide.
This pack contains:
Psyllium provides the fibre that keeps your digestive tract moving throughout a fast, sweeping old debris from the system. It also keeps the stomach full and stops you from feeling hungry.
Take 1 tablespoon – 4 times a day (e.g 9am, 1pm, 5pm and 9pm)
Mix with half a cup of water and drink quickly (otherwise it will start to solidify). Follow by drinking another cup of water.
Attracts free-floating toxins in the bowel and helps expel them from your system.
Take 1 tablespoon of bentonite in water – 4 times in a day (in line with psyllium husk)
Mix 4 heaped tablespoons with plenty of water and leave in a jar to soak, pour one small cup from the jar for each time you take it.
Helps the bowel to hold and eliminate what the psyllium captures. They are of a similar nature to that which digest food when eating.
1 tablet with psyllium – 4 times a day (do not take separately from psyllium)
It’s essential to replenish the friendly bacteria in your gut after a fast, hence the probiotics are included in this pack.
Take 2 probiotic tablets with every meal once your fast has finished.
Important notes on fasting
Drink Lots of Water
It is very important to drink water, lots of water, during a fast. It is best to have a bottle of water on the go at all times and take small but very regular sips.
If you include juice in your fast, keep it light, 20% juice to 80% water – raw apple or carrot juice are best.
After your fast
When introducing food back to your routine make sure to start off with live food like raw fruit, vegetables and salads. You will find small amounts of food make you feel full very quickly, to start off with eat when you feel hungry and stop as soon as you start to feel full. Remember to take probiotics with every meal post fast.
Avoid eating meat, rich/creamy foods and drinking coffee or alcohol.
